News today that Br Oliver O'Leary passed away last night at the great old age of 100.
Brother Ollie was the first New Zealand De La Salle Brother and was renown for his humble service to all of the communities in which he lived, his fantastic gardening skills and his ability to whip up a batch of cheese scones. There can be few better examples of people living the virtues of Faith, Service and Community.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the De La Salle Brothers as they farewell Br Ollie and celebrate his life among them.
